A yet to be identified student of Yaba College of Technology has been shot dead by suspected cultists in the institution.
Students of the institution, told our correspondent that it was a case of cult attack, as the student was shot twice while others took to their heels.
A student of Yabatech that simply wants to be identified as Julius, said, ” I heard the shot twice but never thought it was within the school until I saw students who ran towards my direction that I had to run for my safety dear life” He added that ” All I wanted to do is get food outside of the campus and dash in but I didn’t feel hungry when I heard a student was shot . This is the type of killing that I hope I will never experience before leaving the institution.
Another student who spoke on condition of anonymity said, “I am scared of staying on campus as I don’t know if the killers are among the students right now or another occurrence will happen”
