A 20-year-old was shot in the back and taken to University Hospital Monday night.

San Antonio police said the victim was shot just before 7 p.m. in the 2400 block of Cibolo Street, not far from Highway 90 and Frio City Road.

Someone called the police to report a shooting and officers found the victim with a non-life-threatening injury to his back. He told officers he was shot by at least one occupant of a teal or light blue Ford Focus and that he didn’t know who the suspect, or suspects, might be.Investigators who processed the area also followed up with the victim and have not yet identified a suspect in the shooting.
