Toronto police have charged a suspect in the death of 69-year-old Mariano De-Marco, who was found shot in the driveway of a North York home on December 9th.

(Courtney Heels) Toronto police have charged a suspect in the fatal shooting of a 69-year-old grandfather who was found in the driveway of a North York home earlier this month. Mariano De-Marco was found suffering from a gunshot wound in front of a home on Fairholme Avenue, near Allen Road and Lawrence Avenue West, at around 4 a.m. on Dec. 9.
Police previously said De-Marco was found by a parking enforcement officer. He was pronounced dead at the scene a short time later. Police said Tuesday that they have now arrested a suspect in the killing. He was scheduled to make a court appearance in Toronto on Dec. 24
