The team of five included Cindy Campbell, Glen Earley, Christina Clairmont, Rob Davies, and Katie Pollard. They defeated a team from Moncton's. The game was played as part of Family Feud Canada’s inaugural Teachers’ Week. The teachers won $10,000 to put toward equipment and supplies for their students.
Earley said that while the whole experience was incredible, he didn’t know how he’d feel competing in the fast money round after they won. Davies said some of the students were seeing it for the first time and there was a lot of excitement and anticipation. The team ended up flying to Winnipeg, then had to backtrack to Toronto. Campbell said they got to Toronto at 11 p.m. on Aug. 12 and had an 8 a.m. call time the next morning for the taping, so they were very tired.
“It was such a good time,” she said. “You get caught up in how fun everything is and the potential to win money, it was just so fun.”
