RCMP said a 16-year-old girl was walking near 154 Street and 101A Avenue around 9:15 a.m. Tuesday when she was approached by a stranger.
Surrey police are investigating after an unknown man allegedly tried to grab a teenager and walk her toward a parked card on Tuesday morning.
According to RCMP, a 16-year-old girl was walking near 154 Street and 101A Avenue around 9:15 a.m. when she was approached by a man she did not know. The man allegedly grabbed the girl by her arm and tried to walk her toward a parked vehicle. The girl fought back and was able to get away. Police are now seeking the public’s help in identifying the assault suspect. He is described as a man in his early 20s with tanned or reddish skin, about 6-feet tall with a medium build. The man had a chiseled-shaped jaw, pointy nose and was clean shaven. The suspect was wearing a grey hoodie with brown pants and red shoes.Anyone with information, who may recognize the suspect or who has dashboard camera footage from the area filmed between 9 to 9:30 a.m. Tuesday is asked to contact Surrey RCMP.
