Warner Bros. Discovery has officially set the Super/Man: The Christopher Reeve Story Max streaming release date.
for subscribers of the cable network. The film had its world premiere at the 2024 Sundance Film Festival and also recently took home six Critics Choice Documentary Awards.unfortunate horse-riding accident which left him paralyzed. This docufilm comes after two decades since his death at the age of 52.
“Following a life-altering accident, Christopher Reeve persevered, inspiring the world by using his fame to speak of hope and change our perception of paralysis, all while remaining a dedicated activist, actor and filmmaker, devoted dad, and loving husband to Dana, the beating heart of the family,” reads the film’s official synopsis.
The film was directed by Ian Bonhôte and Peter Ettedgui, who co-wrote the screenplay with Otto Burnham. It features interviews of Reeve’s children Alexandra Reeves Givens, Matthew Reeve, and Will Reeve.
