Police said Richard Matchett was last seen in Sillikers, N.B., around 2 p.m. on Aug. 9, 2022, and reported missing to Mounties on April 30.Throughout the investigation, police determined Matchett’s disappearance to be suspicious leading to the New Brunswick RCMP’s Major Crime Unit taking over the investigation.
On Sept. 21, MCU officers carried out a search warrant at a residence on Highway 420 in Silliker as part of the investigation.
