On Feb. 9, Suncor warned of the possibility of increased flaring at the refinery amid efforts to repair and restart it. “The Commerce City Refinery is undergoing a progressive restart with a return to full operations expected to be completed by late Q1 2023,” said a company spokesperson in an email to the Financial Post.
