IRegained's stroke recovery device rolled out in New York rehab centre
Sudbury-based IRegained produces the MyHand system, a rehabilitation device that helps stroke patients regain mobility in their hands.
The company has rolled out the device at Rehabologym, a rehabilitation centre based in Tarrytown, NY, that uses robotics and other state-of-the-art technologies to help clients with movement recovery, cognitive stimulation, health maintenance and improved function. Specializing in pediatric, adult and geriatric clients with chronic illness or injury, the centre aims to help patients increase independence with daily activities.
In a social media post announcing the partnership, IRegained said Rehabologym was a platinum status collaborator in its Early Adopter Program. “This important milestone is a first step towards our goal to roll out our MyHandTM system across North America in 2023-2024,” the company said.
