A third suspect has been identified in a violent altercation that took place over the weekend in a downtown Sudbury underpass tunnel.
The victim was located by police and received medical attention by paramedics. HIs injuries were deemed not life-threatening. “The footage revealed that a male victim had been laying on the ground of the underpass tunnel, when three men approached him and began to physically assault him,” according to the release. “Through the course of the assault, the suspects were observed rummaging through the victim’s pockets and possessions.
The Mississauga man was charged with robbery with violence, and the Sudbury man was charged with robbery with violence and failure to comply with release order. Police said the third suspect was identified, but remains at large. GSPS said they have identified him as 20-year-old Brandon Leclair-Davey of Greater Sudbury. Police believe he is actively evading capture.
