Five fans may recognize Michigan-born Hayes from his time with KW Titans during their 2023 NLBC season

The Sudbury five have signed Jalen Hayes, a 6'7 forward hailing from Lansing, Michigan, to the roster for the upcoming 2023-24 season.

"Jalen is a player I followed for a long time,” said Logan Stutz, the General Manager and Head Coach of the Sudbury Five. “He will be a big part of the Five this year. The fans will remember him from KW, but I'm glad he's with us now." Throughout his collegiate career, Hayes received awards and recognition, including NABC All-District First and Second Team honors in 2017 and 2018, as well as spots on the 2017 and 2018 Horizon All-League First Teams. Notably, he earned a well-deserved spot on the Horizon League All-Freshman Team in 2015.
