Students blast Catholic school over ban on 'excessive' mullets, dreadlocks

Students from a private Catholic high school have hit back at what they say is a draconian uniform policy banning mullets, makeup and nail polish.

The students took special aim at the banning of mullets and dreadlocks in an open letter circulating online. The new policy, which is now outlined in a four-page document on the college’s website, also bans makeup, nail polish, fake nails and eyelashes and says earrings should be limited to a “single, simple ear-stud” only.
