UPDATE: Student shot at Weston Collegiate high school rushed to hospital with critical injuries
A student has been critically injured after they were shot at a Toronto high school on Thursday.is in lockdown after police say a person was shot shortly after 12 p.m. on Thursday.
Students will be relocated to nearby Weston Memorial Junior Public School and C.R. Marchant Middle School, which Toronto police said was also placed in lockdown on Thursday afternoon. Weston Collegiate has approximately 1,000 students from grades nine to 12, and is the second-oldest secondary school in Toronto.
