Wind speeds may reach unusual speeds of 60-70mph in the capital on Friday due to Storm Eunice, the meteorologist said.“It’s quite rare to see gusts of 60-70mph in London and in southern inland areas. The last time we saw gusts comparable to that was in 2014 in February.during the Burns’ Day storm of 1990. This could be a significant storm compared to recent years.”
