A local environmental advocacy group is asking Ontario’s housing minister to nix the expansion of Durham Region’s urban boundary.Minister Paul Calandra has yet to give final approval to Durham’s Regional Official Plan, which was. The plan would open up more than 9,000 acres of rural land to urban development.
