When I was 3 months old my mom told my dad she was going shopping and didn’t come back. While she had never disappeared before she did have substance abuse problems. She showed up almost 3 years later pregnant. My dad took her in until she had my brother. She left again and we didn’t hear from her again for many years. She eventually died of a d**g overdose.
