Steve Davis has so far raised £2,300 for Pancreatic Cancer
A Castle Douglas man has completed a gruelling hillwalking challenge for a charity close to his heart.
That involves a 24-mile cycle of Whernside, Ingleborough and Pen-y-Ghent – more than 5,000 feet of climbing. And in the process Steve has managed to raise £2,300 for Pancreatic Cancer, with Gavin and Adam raising money for their own cause.. “We’ve known Winnie for many years as my parents bought the cottage next door and it was a holiday home farm for our family.“We thought it was a worthwhile charity to support as it was close to home.
