Actor Kevin Hart challenged former NFL running back Stevan Ridley to a race. And lost. Big time.
Of course, Brady was never quick on his feet, although he did rush for 28 touchdowns, becoming the master of the goal-line plunge. What Hart was thinking challenging a former NFL running back to a foot race is the question that will haunt him for the next six to eight weeks. His post had the following caption: “44 and sitting my ass down!!!!! I got to be the dumbest man alive!!!!! What the f–k am I doing???? I blew my s–t….I’m done. FML.
“To all my men and women out there that are 40 years old and above. It’s not a game, respect that age,” Hart shared in the video. “Respect that age, or that age will make you respect it. I was just forced to respect it. … Why did I even race? Stupidest s–t ever, now I can’t walk.” Kevin Hart’s story is a warning to all aging weekend warriors: respect father time or deal with the consequences.Running back Stevan Ridley jokingly said Tom Brady is to blame for Kevin Hart’s injury.A third-round pick by the Patriots in 2011, he ran for a career-best 1,263 yards and 12 touchdowns in 2012.
Ridley picked up a ring in New England following the Patriots’ Super Bowl XLIX win over the Seahawks before joining the Jets in 2015. He played eight games in New York after recovering from a knee injury.Ridley also spent time with the Lions, Colts, Falcons, Broncos, Vikings and Steelers.
