Forcing Kyiv to spread its defences thinner could give Russian forces greater opportunity to move forward on other parts of the front line — such as in the Donetsk region, which Russian President Vladimir PutinUkraine has sent reinforcements to the Kharkiv region after Russia launched both drones and a ground attack.
