Stephen Colbert, fresh off his stint as the host of The Late Show, hosted a public access program at Monroe Community Media the day after his final episode. He had a memeber of The White Stripes and joked about being on public access the first time.

Stephen Colbert returned to the airwaves Friday, hosting a late-night program, but it was a little different than CBS’s “Late Show. ” Just 24 hours after Colbert’s final episode at the Ed Sullivan Theater, he popped up as a guest host on “as a guest host in July 2015, after the nine-year run of “The Colbert Report” had concluded and before he began hosting “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.

He also had a slew of celebrity guest appearances, including “White Stripes” frontman and vocal Trump critic Jack White as “volunteer musical director. ”“Technically, our first show back in July of 2015 was from a public access station in Monroe, Michigan, for an audience of 12 people,” he said.
