The Pittsburgh Steelers make a punter change for a second consecutive game.
PITTSBURGH -- The Pittsburgh Steelers have elevated punter Brad Wing for a second game, adding him to the active/inactive list for Week 5 against the Baltimore Ravens.
Wing will punt again after Pressley Harvin III was ruled out due to a lingering hamstring injury. Wing punted five times last week, averaging 47.5 yards per punt and landing one inside the 20-yard line. Week 4 against the Houston Texans was the first time since 2017 that Wing took the field for an NFL team. Prior to signing with the Steelers practice squad, he spent the spring in the XFL, playing for the San Antonio Brahmas.
Harvin's injury doesn't have a timetable on it as of now. The third-year punter hasn't practiced since Week 3, but said he's continuing to take mental reps as he works through being out. The Steelers are eligible to call Wing up three times before having to sign him to the active roster.
