After her wedding in St. Tropez last summer, Sarah Staudinger was inspired to launch a bridal line that covers everything from welcome drinks to goodbye brunches.
, in 2015—but because she couldn’t find everything she needed. While there were plenty of places to shop for classic wedding dresses and bridal trousseau items, there were far fewer destinations to find pieces for the miscellaneous events surrounding the main event that have become increasingly standard.
“I felt like I didn’t personally know where to get those items—it was really difficult to find timeless silhouettes that could carry the bride throughout,” Staudinger tellsthat “white dress” is their number one search term, presumably thanks to brides desperately hunting for the perfect look.) The designer ended up crafting her own looks for the welcome dinner, ceremony, and afterparty—she even designed her own heels—but the end result was that she felt properly dressed for every occasion.
Today, Staudinger launches Staud Bride, which aims to cater to every sartorial need of your wedding weekend—including all the events that surround it. “I really saw sort of this gap for chic, affordable, timeless, basically a bridal capsule that could take you from each event,” she tellsIn total, the collection is made up of 15 pieces.
