The families of the Robb Elementary victims and survivors of the shooting led the march through the streets of Austin from a church to the Capitol steps.
The grief and fear have a lasting impact on her.
Caitlyne lost her friends Jackie Cazares and Eliahna Torres. She stood with their families at the Capitol as she called on Gov. Greg Abbott directly to change gun laws. As the families were inside the Capitol meeting with lawmakers, they were joined by Rosie Yanas Stone. “He’s a hero in his own skin. He saved seven people that day, and I know that if he had the chance, he’d do it all over,” Stone said.

Robb Elementary families hoping to block documentary's re-releaseFamilies of the Robb Elementary shooting victims are speaking out against a documentary again. The documentary, 'Robbed: 77 Minutes of Police Incompetence' by Charlie Minn was re-edited and will be released on Tuesday, Feb. 28 at a theater in Uvalde for the survivors of the shooting. The film was made to highlight the events of May 24th and the months after. Last month, the victims' families spoke up against the release of the film, because they say the director misled them and was capitalizing on their tragedy. Now, they're hoping to block the release of this newly re-edited version.
