Starbucks Canada is making its popular free refill program available to all customers, regardless of membership status, starting January 27, 2025. This change simplifies the process and encourages more sustainable practices.

Starbucks is set to make its free refill policy even more accessible to customers in Canada . Starting January 27, 2025, all customers, regardless of whether they are Starbucks Rewards members, will be eligible for a free refill on hot or iced brewed coffee or tea purchased at participating Starbucks locations in Canada . This change expands upon the existing policy, which only allowed Starbucks Rewards members to enjoy free refill s.

To take advantage of this perk, customers must make their initial purchase in-store and claim their refill on the same day. The refill must be served in either for-here ware or a clean, reusable cup. It's important to note that some beverages are excluded from the free refill offer, including cold brew and nitro cold brew, iced tea lemonade, flavored iced tea, and Starbucks Refreshers base. Meanwhile, Starbucks Rewards members should be aware of upcoming changes to their own benefits. Starting February 12, 2025, Rewards members will also need to use for-here ware or a reusable cup to receive a free refill. This new requirement aims to promote sustainability and reduce waste across all Starbucks locations in Canada
