Star Wars is about to confirm that, during the events of the original trilogy, C-3PO secretly betrayed Luke Skywalker, and R2-D2 had to stop him.
C-3PO is one of Luke Skywalker’s oldest and closest allies in Star Wars, as the droid has been with him since A New Hope with familial ties stretching all the way back to when Anakin Skywalker was a child. However, despite the closeness of their relationship, new evidence has come to light that seems to indicate C-3PO actually betrayed Luke in between the events of the original trilogy, and Star Wars is about to confirm it.

D-Squad will follow a team of droids led by R2-D2 as they work to oppose the evil efforts of corrupted droids.
