Star Wars has unveiled three new Order 66 survivors - but the Dark Times of the Empire's reign weren't good for the few Jedi to escape the clones.
Delilah S. Dawson’s Star Wars novel, Inquisitor: Rise of the Red Blade, introduces three new Order 66 survivors - and outlines their tragic fate. Order 66 was Palpatine's masterstroke, with clone troopers turning on Jedi across the galaxy. But some Jedi survived Order 66 in the chaos of the end of the Clone Wars, and Palpatine had Darth Vader lead a mission across the galaxy to hunt these survivors down.
SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT The Inquisitors were fallen Jedi, turned to the dark side by the violence of the Clone Wars and the manipulation of Palpatine's spies. They were not considered Sith, with Palpatine and Darth Vader carefully controlling the knowledge they acquired, but they became powerful nonetheless. Delilah S.
These three Jedi escaped Order 66 by luck; they seem to have received the emergency summons from the Jedi Temple on Coruscant before their clone troopers received Order 66. Still, they were left traumatized, and were easy prey for pirates. They were imprisoned on an ancient Sith world, the dark side vergence there lessening their powers.
All Three Order 66 Survivors Were Killed By The Inquisitor Viewers tend to assume Order 66 was a single event. In reality, it was a command that remained in force throughout the Dark Times of the Empire's reign; Palpatine even amended Order 66, issuing codicils to make it ever more restrictive. As an enforcer of Order 66, Iskat Akaris was sent to kill her former allies.
