The Hill Times
Prime Minister Justin Trudeau saw some movement in his office this past summer with three departures, two hires, and one promotion to catch up on, including the exits of deputy director of operations and outreach Udita Samuel, and lead speechwriter Alexandre Gravel. After almost two-and-a-half years in the PMO, Samuel is headed back to school and is moving across the pond to begin a master’s degree at the University of Oxford.
On the flip side, Deborah Allotey and Jaeda Schilke have been added to Trudeau’s team as a correspondence writer, and a special assistant for human resources, respectively. Allotey is a former legal services administrator with the National Police Federation, and has more recently been busy as an ecosystem mapping project co-ordinator with Carleton University’s Sprott School of Business, including for its Black Entrepreneurship Knowledge Hub.
