St. Vincent Place tweaks hours for drive-thru food drive

Volunteers will unload your donations every Tuesday in August from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

St. Vincent Place’s summer drive-thru food drives are continuing in August. Every Tuesday this month, you can donate your non-perishables by simply pulling up to the main doors at 222 Albert St. E. Volunteers will collect your donation so that you don’t even need to get out of your vehicle.

For the month of August, the time of the drives has been adjusted. They will now be running from 10 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. St. Vincent Place is happy to receive donations of any non-perishables, but for a list of what we need most often, visit the website. If you have questions about the St. Vincent Place food bank, would like to volunteer for the drive-thru food drives, or are a business owner who would like to run your own drive, please contact Sara at [email protected] or 705-253-2770 ext. 202. The drives are a great opportunity for high school students hoping to put in some volunteer hours over the summer.
