Second homeowners will be forced to spend a penny to use public lavatories while locals will be given access for free
Residents will be given pre-payment access cards to use the lavatories free of charge, a Cornish town council has said., which received more than 500,000 day visitors last year, are looking at ways to reduce a £135,000 annual bill for running the area’s eight public lavatories.While locals will be given pre-payment access cards so they can use the loos for free, “out-of-towners”, including those who rent out their home for holiday lets, will have to pay.
