Sri Lanka’s new prime minister, Ranil Wickremesinghe, has warned thatIn his first address to the country since he was, after Mahinda Rajapaksa stepped down from the role amid Sri Lanka’s worst economic crash since independence, Wickremesinghe was blunt as he described the conditions of the country’s finances as “extremely precarious”.
