Spurs have patient plan for rookies Dominick Barlow, Jordan Hall
San Antonio’s Dominick Barlow, center, scored nine points in seven minutes on 4-of-4 shooting in his preseason debut against New Orleans. The undrafted rookie is expected to begin the season developing his skills in the G league.SAN ANTONIO - Dominick Barlow began his first post-game press conference as a Spur with a request to the media for patience.
During his time in Atlanta, Barlow showed off his skills as a modern big man, guarding all five positions and stretching the floor with his 3-point shooting. Barlow’s time was limited in the preseason, but he made the most of his minutes. In two appearances, he hit 5 of 6 shots from the field, including sinking both of his attempts from beyond the arc.
“He’s been giving me a lot of advice, helping me a lot on where to rotate on defense and on points where I can attack on offense,” Barlow said.
