Maks Persic helped Slovenia win IIHF World Junior 1B Championship, he's bringing a year of BCHL experience to Prince George blueline
The Prince George’s Spruce Kings announced Wednesday they’ve signed free agent defenceman Maks Percic for the 2024-25 season.
The Cents acquired the 20-year-old Michigan Tech University recruit at the trade deadline, sending the rights to Diego Johnson to Vernon on exchange. Persic played for Slovenia in the IIHF World Junior Division 1B Championship and had five assists in five games while leading his time to the tournament title.
