.Spotify's new podcast, '21 Days,' will follow mxmtoon around as she works on her debut album
, a new eight-episode music podcast that follows three weeks in the life of 19-year-old singer-songwriter mxmtoon as she goes to work on her forthcoming self-released debut album, on the streaming service, with the remaining batch set to be released on Sept. 19, two days after the album's launch.
“It took a lot of adjustment,” she says. “But at a certain point, it became pretty standard. When I flew back home after the three-week period, I'm like, 'Oh my god, I don't have a mic wire attached to me. I don't need to walk somewhere and explain what I'm looking at.’” “[I’m] trying to figure out who I am, what my story is, and what I want to do with my life,” she says. “And I think that's the reason people connect with my work. I just happen to be somebody who is exactly like them who ended up in this role where I am allowed to create for a living.”
