Marvel's Sinister Six is about to become one all-new villain, as Spider-Man will take on a Super-Adaptoid version of his rogues' gallery in an upcoming issue of his ongoing series. In a new preview for The Amazing Spider-Man #6 , the Sinister Six will be captured and used to create a new villain called Sinister Adaptoid, who has all of the combined powers of Spider-Man's foes.
The Sinister Six is one of Marvel Comics' iconic villain teams, as it consists of Spider-Man's greatest enemies. While the Sinister Six has welcomed new villains to its roster over the years and had numerous variations, the original team remains the most notable. Debuting in The Amazing Spider-Man Annual #1 by Stan Lee and Steve Ditko, the first Sinister Six features Doctor Octopus, Electro, Kraven the Hunter, Mysterio, Sandman, and Vulture.
The Sinister Adaptoid not only looks menacing, but with each of the powers of the Sinister Six, the new villain will surely cause major problems for Spider-Man. Can the web-slinger stop the new villain, or will he need assistance from his closest Marvel Comics allies in taking down the Sinister Adaptoid? Readers will find out more when The Amazing Spider-Man #6 arrives in comic book stores in June.
