After hearing Spider-Boy's secret origin, Spider-Man presses further into Bailey's history, asking why he doesn't use web-shooters. Bailey is reluctant to answer due to it being an embarrassing story, so Peter asks how Spider-Boy can wall-crawl with such thick-soled shoed. Spider-Boy reveals that unlike Peter or Miles, Bailey has a costume made from unstable molecules courtesy of the Fantastic Four's Reed Richards.
