Victoria Police Chief Del Manak is hoping that the province will restore special constable status for security guards at hospitals, after complaints of wait times his officers recently faced.
Chief Del Manak speaks to media, calling on the province to reinstate special constable status to security guards at hospitals.
Manak says that his officers are waiting an average of two hours and 25 minutes and that wait times are trending upwards. and sued the province. In the past, View Royal and Victoria both called on the province to reinstate the status.
