A federal criminal complaint has been filed against a Texas woman flying out of Houston who allegedly attempted to open the exit door mid-flight and assaulted a plane passenger, prompting an emergency landing. Another flight attendant also told authorities they were shoved by Agbegninou while she was trying to get to the exit door, according to the complaint filed by the FBI.A passenger on the plane had heard another passenger say, “She’s trying to open the door,” prompting them to head to the back of the plane along with others.
Agbegninou eventually released her bite on their leg and then began hitting her head against the ground, the complaint stated.After landing, the passenger who was bitten was taken to the hospital and received antibiotics and hepatitis shots, according to the complaint. The passenger was reported to have PTSD and anxiety. The complaint said they called the veterans crisis hotline following the events.
