A motor-vehicle incident at Trans-Canada Highway and Tillicum Road has resulted in southbound traffic being diverted at Tillicum
Southbound traffic on the Trans-Canada Highway is being diverted at Tillicum Road after a motor-vehicle incident at the intersection, Saanich police said in an advisory Thursday at 11 a.m..The highway is closed at Tillicum to southbound traffic. Tillicum is also closed in both directions at the highway.Multiple police officers are at the scene, along with one ambulance.
A red sedan is in the middle of the intersection, along with what looks like clothing and a backpack and pieces of paper on the road. B.C. Transit said that the incident has led to detours on a number of routes, including 47, 48, 50, 51, 63, 61 and 65 Downtown. Buses affected are using the Burnside Road West exit, then going left on Harriet Road, right on Douglas Street and then back to their regular routes.
