Boyd Leard, deputy mayor of Souris, is seeking the Green Party of P.E.I. nomination for Souris-Elmira in the upcoming provincial election. “I talk to my community every day in my business and people are struggling with the cost of living, with housing, and with health care. We must listen to Islanders and make decisions based on evidence and what we hear."He has also served on various boards, including the Eastern Kings Arena Board, the Public School Board and the Green Party of P.E.I. Provincial Council.
He graduated from the Holland College electronics program and has completed training in emergency measures as well as business.
