Sooke Road has reopened to single alternating traffic following a multi-vehicle crash earlier on Thursday.
Sooke Road has opened to single alternating traffic between Manzer and Gillespie Roads after a multi-vehicle crash closed the road earlier on Thursday. At around 5:10 p.m. on Thursday, DriveBC reported that Highway 14 was now open to single lane alternating traffic between Manzer Rd and Gillespie Rd due to a vehicle incident.DriveBC says the single lane alternating traffic runs for about 800 metres where the multi-vehicle incident occurred.
BC Emergency Health Services (BC EHS) say that at 3:50 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 2, a call came in about a motor vehicle incident (MVI) in the 5200 block of Sooke Road in Sooke. Two ambulances with primary care paramedics and an ambulance with advanced care paramedics responded to the scene. Paramedics provided emergency medical treatment and transported one person to hospital
