Sooke Road near Kangaroo Road reopened by 2:15 p.m. after being closed in both directions in the wake of a crash where a vehicle ran into a utility pole, downing power lines.B.C. Transit said in an advisory about 11:40 a.m. that the 61/65 bus was detouring in Langford from Happy Valley Road to Rocky Point Road, Kangaroo Road and Sooke Road, then back to its regular route.
From the other direction it was detouring from Sooke Road to Kangaroo Road, Rocky Point Road and Happy Valley Road, then back to its regular route.
