The Ukrainian soldiers who told a Russian warship to “go f--- yourself” while stationed on Snake Island are “alive and well,” despite previous reports that they were all killed, according to the Ukrainian Navy.

"The SBGSU and the Armed Forces, like the whole of Ukraine, have received hope that all of Zmiiny's defenders are alive," the post read in part.

Shabia Mantoo, a UNHCR spokeswoman, said the growing count included 281,000 in Poland, more than 84,500 in Hungary, about 36,400 in Moldova, over 32,500 in Romania and about 30,000 in Slovakia.
