Dedication names media centre after former Halifax journalist Jenn Casey

Jennifer Casey. - Chelsey GouldDEBERT, N.S. — On the Debert Airport tarmac before a busy, members of the media, photographers, the SkyHawks Canadian Armed Forces Parachute Team and other air personnel gathered to witness the unveiling of a special dedication by family and friends of the late Captain Jennifer Casey.
“The one thing that is going to stay the same from here on forward, for all of our shows, is that this will be known as the Captain Jenn Casey Media & Photographer Centre,” he said. “This , or a version like it, will be from all of our shows from now on, supporting the legacy that she helped forge as a member of a team.”
As Stephenson spoke about the beloved Snowbirds member, he took his glasses off while starting to tear up. A University of King’s College journalism alumnus who grew up in Halifax, she was popular among radio listeners in the city as a talk show host and worked at NEWS 95.7 as a news reporter.
