Up to 40 cm of snow expected this evening through Wednesday, Environment Canada says
Sault Ste. Marie area can expect another snowfall this evening, which can bring up to 40 cm of snow by Wednesday evening.
Environment Canada warns surfaces, like highways, roads, walkways and parking lots, may be difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow.Brisk westerly winds are also coming this evening, developing lake-effect flurries and snow squalls. Snow squalls expected this evening through Wednesday.Reduced visibility due to heavy snow and blowing snow.An Alberta Clipper will impact the region today, for which a winter weather travel advisory is currently in effect.
Visibility may be suddenly reduced at times in heavy snow. Surfaces such as highways, roads, walkways and parking lots may become difficult to navigate due to accumulating snow.
