Ed suited up for 220 games in his NHL career with the Washington Capitals and the Hartford Whalers. He also spent time in Europe, but bought a home in Chandler after spending the 1992-93 campaign with the IHL’s Phoenix Roadrunners. “You think of a lot of the people along the way that he’s crossed paths with over the years, whether it was families, individuals, parents and everybody,” said Kastelic. “It’s exciting, certainly as a parent, but also as a hockey fan.Article content
. “In junior, the fans are right up on top of you and, surely, they play a little harder when that noise is kicking. It doesn’t matter how many fans you have in the building, it’ll feel like a really good game.”
