Cleveland Heights police were called to a house where two adult sisters physically fought over a box and a pet snake.
Published: Sep. 27, 2024, 12:44 a.m.CLEVELAND HEIGHTS, Ohio -- At 7:55 p.m. Sept. 19, officers were dispatched for the second time in half an hour to a Parkway Drive home where two sisters, 27 and 25, were actively fighting while on the line with dispatch.
Police were first called to the house because the older sister, who does not live at the house, keeps a snake there. Her parents allow her to keep the snake and to visit the house whenever she wants. This, the older sister told police, led her sister to attack her -- punching her and biting her on the thigh.
The women’s stepfather corroborated the older sister’s account of what took place. He said the younger sister said she was going to release the snake in the back yard if it was not removed from her box. The older sister told her to wait until the snake finished its dinner.
