“If a Crown prosecutor is being contacted by somebody in the premier’s office, that prosecutor is going to rightfully assume that that person is doing so with the authority, with the knowledge, and with the influence of the premier behind them,” she said. Alberta Crown Prosecution Service spokesperson Michelle Davio said in a statement to Postmedia neither the Assistant Deputy Minister of the Alberta Crown Prosecution Service nor the Crown prosecutor involved in the Coutts files have any recollection of receiving any emails from the premier’s office.Article content
