I’d take the Astros over the Dodgers in a seven-game series right now without blinking. But in all fairness, Los Angeles entered Monday with a smoking .699 win percentage and Roberts’ team has been the hottest in baseball while the surging Astros have watched New York’s second-best club return to earth.
Time stops for no one, though, and as mid-August arrives Astros-Dodgers II is the dream script that is one green light away from becoming the huge blockbuster that MLB so badly needs.The original “Star Wars” is still great but every good fan inherently knows that “The Empire Strikes Back” is the best starship in the galaxy.
