A small plane has crashed near the Tahsis Inlet, northwest of Tofino. BCEHS says two patients were transported from the scene to CFB Comox.

A small plane has crashed near the Tahsis Inlet, northwest of Tofino.

The Transportation Safety Board of Canada, the federal agency that investigates transportation accidents, says the crash involved a Quest Kodiak 100 aircraft. BC Emergency Health Services says it was notified of the plane crash on Tuesday, June 20, just before 2:30 p.m. BCEHS says two patients were transported from the scene to CFB Comox by Joint Rescue Coordination Centre and Canadian Armed Forces personnel. BCEHS then transported them to the hospital with injuries.
