A POLITICO reporter spent the night outside with anti-homelessness activists in Davos at the annual gathering of the world's 1 percent
DAVOS, Switzerland — After eight consecutive trips to the World Economic Forum in Davos, there’s little I haven’t seen.
The organization campaigns to reduce homelessness by making active citizens of the homeless — focusing on how individuals can use their skills to obtain work and housing. Spokesperson Andrew Funk said it costs about $3,000 to shift one person off the streets. He also said WEF participants were afraid to join him sleeping in the cold.
